Basic UK postage can be added to orders automatically.
International shipping or postage is more complex, as there are many countries and zones and the prices change too often for me to keep up with.
When ordering from outside the UK, the cost will initially be shown and £999. This is a placeholder and it's not intended that anyone ever pays that, so don't worry!
For most of Europe and the USA, it will probably be somewhere between £10 - £20 or so, though some places cost crazy amounts and it can be cheaper to use a forwarding service.
Once I get email notification of the order being placed, I will find the actual cost for the destination address from the Royal Mail (or other sites), and then adjust the postage cost in the order to the correct value.
You should get an email informing you of the update to the order. If I'm working silly hours that could occasionally take a few days, but normally it should be within a day or so.
When you get the update, you can log back in and view the order total cost. If that is acceptable, go ahead and pay for the order.
If not, either cancel it yourself or let me know and I can cancel it.
You also can check the order for any update whenever you like.
